Gengentala, full name is Gegentala Jiaoselong that means "a place for living and herding sheep and cattle in summer" or "a place for spending summer" in Mongolian. Gegentala Grassland Tourist Sport lies in Siziwang Banner, the Ulanqab League north of the Daqing Mountain. The tourist spot is 138 kilometers from Hohhot the capital of Inner Mongolia. Due to its smooth and vast land, Gegentala grassland is a natural grazing ground for livestock.

The prairie is a scenic spot supported both by the Natural Tourist Bureau and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Visitors will be truly astonished by the remarkable beauty of the natural scenery on the prairie.
