Repulse Bay is an appealing tourist site in Hong Kong, its charming wide, wave-lapped beach is very popular among the locals, as well as tourists. Repulse Bay is an upmarket residential area that enjoys a relaxed resort-like atmosphere. In the early morning or at sunset, it is great for sandy strolls, and there are many sunbatheres are out in force.

As one of the most beautiful beaches in Hong Kong, this crescent-shaped stretch of sand features a lifeguard clubhouse built in traditional Chinese style, and its ceiling is decorated with magnificent swirling dragons. Towering twin statues of Kwun Yum and Tin Hau that both are protectors of fishermen, dominating the picturesque gardens that lead down to the beach. More than 20 years ago, most of the grounds were redeveloped into luxury apartments, and only the the original arcade remains.
