Harbin Ice And Snow Art Gallery (aka Harbin Ice And Snow Art Hall ) is located in the Sun Island, which is built with the investment from Dalian Refrigeration Co., Ltd, and was open to the public in 2001. It has the total area of 5,000 sq. m, and exhibits more than 100 pieces of ice-and snowscape. The consumption of snow is nearly 10 thousand sq. m. Indoor, the temperature is kept between -5 to 10 . It is the largest indoor art gallery for ice lantern and snow-carvings in the world.Each year, the gallery makes ice and snow works based on the year's theme. Those artists of ice and snow embed the lightening LED diode into the ice sculptures. Not only the resources are saved, but also the view effect is improved.
