Pagoda Hill is located in the southern suburbs of Guilin . The hexagonal pagoda is called Longevity Buddha Pagoda (Shoufo Ta) and dates from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). On the second floor stone Buddha figurines are on display.
In autumn, the hillside is covered with red maples. It is also known as Worship Hill because of its unique shape. Although the hill is quite small it is highly regarded for its unique shape. Tourists come here to appreciate the unique reflection of the Hill in the Lijiang River and Xiaodong River. The hill is surrounded by Chuanshan Park .
