73 Denim - Womenswear Collection
Inspiration is taken from key eras in rock and roll from 60’s and 70’s bohemian rock to 80’s and 90’s heavy metal. Every piece is sexy, and has attitude. A washed leather band leader jacket can be worn with a flowing fringed dress and vintage jeans. A studded biker waistcoat can be thrown over a customized rock t-shirt and leopard print leggings…and all the combinations in between. Fabrics are soft and fluid, or skin tight. Styles are richly embellished with, studs, chains, beads, sequins, fringes and lace up details. Graphics are influenced by classic rock album cover art. Colours include rock staples of Black, smoky grey and white updated by dusky pinks and blues, champagne and deep purples.

Classic follows on from the winter with a clean and stylish summer look. Inspired by themes of Riviera summers and nautical influences; reflected in both colour and styling. All of these are essential menswear staples with enduring style. The collection moves
from reinvented classics to detail rich garments. This is the range of Pepe Jeans garments that every man should have in his wardrobe, easy to combine with jeans or chinos and items from the rest of the collection comprising of light to medium weight fabrics suitable for spring summer and improving washes for that more authentic Pepe Jeans look and feel.

The London collection continues to develop with its rugged and authentic fastidious use of detail, each garment encompasses the ethos of inner city life with a colour palette comprising of these influences. Whilst there are elements of a familiar rock n’ roll sensibility with a refining visible glimpse of the vintage union jack throughout, there is a great fusion of modern verses historic, blurring the line of old and new. Inspiration comes from the wealth of detail found in authentic work wear, hunting apparel and military uniforms, recovering old details and blending them to generate and engineer fresh and innovative ideas in the constant pursuit of authenticity.
- OXBRIDGE COLLECTION -
Pepe’s Oxbridge collection captures the essence of a fictional collegiate life. Inspiration evolves from the slant of sporting team players: rugby and athletics, to quickly encompass and capture other areas of this lifestyle on and around campus. Silhouettes are essentially casual, pieces being easily worn as stand alone items or working well as layered considered looks.
Detailing has been taken from authentic collegiate sportswear- the classic striped rugby, the track vest and team hoodies. As well as attention to original varsity styling, care has been taken to re-create the aged washing found during research of these pieces. With the pallete comprising of rich brights-masculine traditional sporting colours- updated with edges of fresh accent and bursts of embellished detail Oxbridge has a bouyant and upbeat feel essential to the summer market.
