Dutch Minister visits World Expo Venue

On November 17, 2009, an official delegation of the Netherlands conducted an inspection tour to Dutch Pavilion for the World Expo, which was contracted by Shanghai Baoye Construction Corp., Ltd. (SBC-MCC). The delegation consisted of over 20 members, which was headed by Mr. Frank Heemskerk, Minister for Foreign Trade of the Netherlands, and Mr. Walter van Weelden, Dutch Ambassador to China & Commissioner General of the Netherlands to the Shanghai 2010 World Expo.
The heads of the Project Division gave a warm welcome to the visiting delegation. Accompanied by the project staff, Mr. Frank Heemskerk and his delegation members stepped onto the main bridge of Dutch Pavilion and conducted an overall inspection on the jobsite. And they also received interviews by the escorted journalists from the Dutch new medias. The delegation members were deeply impressed by the civilized project implementation on site and the advanced project management expertise. After the visit, the Dutch officials gave full recognition on the project implantation situation, and took photos with the project management staff.
The Minister for Foreign Trade of the Netherlands is the third Dutch senior official who visited the jobsite of World Expo Venue, symbolizing that great importance has been attached to the construction of Dutch Pavilion by the Netherlands Government. With the great concern and support extended by the various circles of society, SBC-MCC will make determined and persistent efforts for the project execution, and thus give an impressive promotion of the corporate brand in terms of the quality engineering undertaken for the World Expo.
