Bank of China s biggest Olympic licensee's outlet opened in Beijing Branch HQ Building Sub-Branch on October 24,2006. The vice president of BOC, Mr. Hua Qingshan, general manager of BOC Olympic Affairs Department, Mr. Xu Chen, the vice general manager of BOC Beijing Branch, Mr. Zhao Meng and Mr. Mei Feiqi attended the opening ceremony.

With the approval of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG), Bank of China, the banking partner of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, has become a BOCOG licensee to sell Olympic precious metal products, high-grade commemorative pins and other licensed merchandise.

With the support of BOCOG, Bank of China started to sell licensed Olympic products in Macao Special Administrative Region on January 27, 2006 and the products have been sought after. Bank of China aims at setting 100 outlets in cities across China by the end of 2007, bringing its customer resources into full play.

As banking partner, Bank of China vows to provide quality banking services for the 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
