Yantai, Apr.19, 2005 Shandong Cultural Industry Institute & Teaching and Scientific Research Bases of Beijing University and Renmin Univeristy laid the foundation in Penglai yesterday morning. Leaders of Yantai municipal government and Shandong provincial governments and the two universities attended the ceremony.
In 2003, Dazhong Newspaper Industry Group decided to found the cultural industry institute in Penglai and cooprate with Beijing University and Renmin University to improve the enducation quality. The institute will depend on the teaching resources of the famous universities, set up a batch of key disciplines and foster the talent on the cultural industry and media economic management.
