March 7, the meeting about the election of two committees in villages and communities of the city was held. On the meeting, Deputy Mayor Qi Jianzhong required: (I) elaborately arrange and well prepare the term-change election. Perfect the working mechanism, reinforce the investigation and make pertinent work plan as well as strengthen the training of the backbones for being familiar with the situation in advance and putting them into working state; (II) with key issues prioritized, carry out the term-change election. According to the requirements of firmly insisting on party's leadership, strictly implementing the legal procedures and unremittingly maintaining the strict term-change discipline, do well in various work including the election of village and community electoral committee, registration of villagers and residents attending to the election and votes on nominating candidates and the election day, and ensure that term-change election will be carried out smoothly, orderly and successfully; (III) consolidate the results and carefully do well in following work of term-change election. Improve the working mechanism, do well in the handover for new team with old team to get in work quickly and carry out an in-depth and meticulous ideological work for the people who lose the election.
