Jinan, July 8-- Shandong Department of Education announced additional regulations of Basic School Running Standards for Shandong Provincial Middle and Primary School (Trial), which attached great importance to school security issue concerned by the whole society. In the teachers and resources allocation standard, full time and part time security guards are listed on the school government attendant allocation.
According to school running standard, the site selection of Shandong middle and primary schools must meet requirements of better geological conditions, and higher terrain and the location of a school should not be adjacent to places that produce, run and stock poisonous, dangerous and inflammable products. When planed, the school should be designed with enclaves, equipped with firm door and reception office. The structural system with better anti-quake property should be adopted in making middle and primary schools. The classroom lighting should be in accordance with the Basic Standard for Sports and Heath Requirements of National Schools (Trial)
