Lishui University Partnered with Eserp University, Spain

On the morning of March 14th, Lishui University and Eserp University of Spain signed a cooperation agreement, deciding to implement all-round cooperation in aspects like language teaching. The two institutions will cooperate to establish Sino-Spain Business School and jointly institute business education in "three plus one" mode. Both parties will start to send short-term exchange students to study in the partner institution next year, and credits the students earn through the exchange scheme will be mutually recognizable.
Jose Daniel, president of Eserp University, used to lead a delegation to Lishui University as early as 2003. "We Spaniards are very interested in Chinese culture. We visited and communicated with Lishui University eight years ago, and we admire the size and achievements of this university. Therefore, we are ready to cooperate with Lishui University in multiple fields" he said.
It is learned that both institutions will set up admission office in the partner institution, receiving admission applications from overseas students as of this September. Lishui University will institute the education of Spanish and Spanish culture. Meanwhile, the education of Chinese and Chinese culture will get started in Eserp University. "We hope the cooperation will promote the education of minority languages like Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian in Lishui" said Ma Zhuomin, president of Eserp Confucius School, Spain.
