On March 3rd, the working conference on promoting the transformational development of Jiangyin's enterprises was held in Shanghai. Zhu Minyang, Secretary of Jiangyin Municipal Party Committee, stressed at the meeting that we needed to unfold a vigorous mass campaign for transformational development depending on the leadership of talent and technology to create a new development pattern of "entrepreneur + scientist + financer = winner" and build a new method for the development of emerging industries in order to boost the transformational and sustainable development of Jiangyin during the "12th Five-Year Plan".
City leaders of Jiangyin Zhao Guoquan, Cai Yeming, Sun Xiaohu, Fei Ping, Feng Xiaochun and Zhang Jijian attended the conference.
Zhu Minyang pointed out that it was a nice tradition to organize enterprises to go out for investigations in order to push forward and serve the development of enterprises. Through this investigation in Shanghai, we learned from Shanghai's enterprises that the investment in research & development should be increased and the innovation capability of the enterprises should be promoted so as to enhance the core competitiveness, brand competitiveness and value creation ability.
Zhu Minyang also expressed that the economic aggregate of Jiangyin in 2010 reached RMB 540 billion. However, in order to double this figure in 2011, we needed to persist in the development strategy of "develop Jiangyin depending on industry" and encourage enterprises to increase the input of talent and technological innovation, making it a characteristic of Jiangyin's enterprises.
