The torch of 16th Asian Games to be lit at 9:42 p.m.

The 2nd World Press Briefing of the 16th Asian Games was held in Guangzhou yesterday. The organizing committee guided reporters to visit the site for opening and closing ceremony under construction. The torch lighting ceremony catches the public focus and it will be held at 9:42 on the opening ceremony day.

The opening ceremony will be held on November 12th, consists of two part including water cruise and grand performance. Pearl River Cruise is a special arrangement for the opening ceremony, from west to east, starting at Baietan and arriving at Haixinsha Square. And performance will start at about 8 p.m. with about 7000 performers. The torch lighting ceremony is exciting and will be held at 9:42 p.m that night.
