A 5 Yangthemed cartoon produced by the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (GAFA) was released at Guangzhou Asian Games Sports and Culture Centre on Friday (October 8). The 3D cartoon is named "Xiang He Ru Yi Le Yangyang" (meaning peace, harmony and great happiness, with everything going as you wish) after the five goat Mascots A Xiang, A He, A Ru, A Yiand Le Yangyang. GAFA donated the cartoon to the Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC).
The art director of the cartoon is GAFA Professor Chen Xiaoqing who was also a chief designer of the Mascots themselves.
The first season of the cartoon comprises eight parts, each of which is 13 minutes long. Beginning with a legend of Guangzhou, it features five lovely and lively goats taking adventures in the amazing South China city, showcasing the charm of Guangzhouand the Asian Games.
