A Chinese chess set made by a gift manufacturer in Dongguan has become one of the Shanghai Expo licensed products, and is poised to become a Chinese 'souvenir' gift for foreign guest attending the Expo.

The most beautiful part of the chess set is concerning carvings within the actual chess pieces. Each piece portrays a pavilion of the Expo.

Jing Ya, an art and craft factory in Fenggang Township of Dongguan, has been granted a license by the Expo Organizer to manufacture a kind of crystal Chinese chess set. According to the factory, the chess set is made with the theme "folk, folklore and Chinese elements". The most beautiful part of the chess set is concerning carvings within the actual chess pieces. Each piece portrays a pavilion of the Expo.
