Dongguan Price Bureau issued a regulation on April 8, requiring car parks around the city to extend the free parking time to 30 minutes.
According to the regulation, free parking time in car parks around Dongguan shall be extended to 30 minutes from the existing 15 minutes. Charges will come only when the parking time exceed 30 minutes. On-street parking with parking meters is not included in this adjusting.
