After four months' construction, the first factory outlet center in Dongguan starts its trial operation in the South China Mall in Wanjiang district.
Currently there are 36 enterprises settled down in the center. Another three factory outlet centers are to be built in Dalang Woolen Trade, Changping Jingjiu Toys Mall and Chang'an Zhongyuan Jewelry Accessaries Trading Center. They will complete construction by this June. Each center will receive subsidies of more than 7.5 million yuan from the government for a year.
These factory outlet centers will be a multifunctional products sales center for wholesale, retail and display of products. They will mainly serve the pillar industries of Dongguan and help enterprises explore domestic markets.
Factories entering the centers will enjoy a rent-free period for two years.
