On May 20, nine schools in Dongguan signed a memorandum of cooperation with their nine counterparts in southeastern and western Northern Ireland, UK. The two parties will strengthen one-to-one collaborative teaching via web-based instruction and exchange visits of teachers and students.
The cooperation will cover 6 areas: the collaborative course study on cross-curricular or a particular curricular, web-based language teaching, exchange visits of teachers and students, opportunities for students to communicate with each other via information and communications technologies, collaboration of top teaching practices, and improvements in the professional level of teachers of both parties.
