Dongguan will experience fine weather during the National Day holidays which will last from October 1-October 7.
Temperatures will fall by 2 degrees to 24-30 degrees Celsius on Sunday and Monday under the influence of a weak cold front from the north. There will be occasional scattered showers but most days will be cloudy with sunny periods during the holidays.
Fine weather is expected in Guangdong Province but there will be strong winds, plunging temperatures and rain in northern parts of the country.
There will be heavy rain in Northeast China, where a cold front will cause temperatures to plunge by 10-12 degrees Celsius. Sichuan and Guizhou can expect torrential rain with strong winds
