The permanent secretariat of Forum Macau and the Investment Promotion Agency of the Chinese Trade Ministry Thursday signed a cooperation protocol to boost business promotion between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries.
According to an official statement, the document was signed in Dongguan, a city in Guangdong province, next to Macau, during the annual meeting of the Investment Promotion Agencies of china and the Portuguese-speaking countries and the Forum for Promotion of Investment in Strategic emerging Industries.
The protocol aims to develop investment promotion work within the framework of Forum Macau, boost cooperation in mutual investment promoted by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macau and by the Investment Promotion Agency of the Chinese Trade Ministry.
The document also aims to highlight Macau's role as a services platform in the economic and trade areas between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries, the statement said. (macauhub)
