Dongguan Entry-Exit Inspection offers green channel for passengers from Japan

The catastrophic earthquake, ensuing tsunami and nuclear radiation in Japan have caused wide public concern recently. The number of inward Japanese passengers and Chinese citizens returning from Japan has seen a rapid increase. According to Dongguan Entry-Exit Inspection, the number of tourists entering China from Japan has risen from 4% to 10% since March 14. Therefore, Dongguan Entry-Exit Inspection has offered green channel for these passengers in time.

In addition, in order to allay the rising fears of nuclear contamination, Dongguan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau joins together to launch professional nuclear radiation checks on tourists.

So far, no abnormal levels of radioactive substances has been detected.
