Tasly World Zambia marketing manager entered Lubumbashi, Gongo DRC for the promotion of Tasly Traditional health products and Tasly career from 1st May to 10th May, which turned out to be a successful beginning with an accumulative attendance of around 700, about 30 new members joining and a sale around USD2000.
Being the second biggest town and the biggest mining area in Congo DRC with a population of around 2million, Lubumbashi is just one and a half hours drive away from Zambia border, which makes it an important strategic potential market for Tasly World Zambia.
This is the second time that Tasly World Zambia management has been to Lubumbashi, the first time in August last year. This time we spent three days specifically for the about 40 members in Lubumbashi in enhancing the training on company profile, products knowledge, marketing plan and business skills.
And also, we held Tasly opportunity meetings in different district of Lubumbashi with different women groups including the church women, women teachers union, women workers union, which received a positive response from the audience and many were willing to join Tasly career.
Generally, during the 10 days activities, the accumulative attendance is around 700 and the feedback from the attendants is encouraging with 30 people joining Tasly career during or after the meetings with a sales around USD2000.
This trip has greatly enhanced the knowledge and working skills of the members in Lubumbashi and wide spread Tasly health products as well Tasly Great career among different organizations.
It is believed that after this trip, Lubumbashi will become another Tasly shining star in the few coming months.
