From Aug. 30 to Sept. 1, the company held a speech contest with the theme of grow up and create a magnificent future together .43 contestants from the Head office and 27 underling units participated in the contest. After fierce competitions, finally 12 contestants entered the final. Company leaders including Xie Changjun, Tian Shicun, Zhang Yuan, Li Hongmei, Wang Jianting and Jia Nansong were present to watch the contests in person.
In the contest, their speeches were closely related to the subject and their performances were emotional and impressive. Their speeches related touching stories happened in different posts of the company s construction, production and management, which not only fully show the unselfish spirit of employee commitment and devotion of the staff, but also their courage of challenging difficulties and shouldering responsibilities. The tone of their speeches was active and vivid. And their performances were full of passion and impressive, which evoked great sympathy of the present audience. After fierce competitions, prizes including 1 first prize, 2 second prize and 3 third prize were selected.
Tian Shicun, Secretary of Party Leadership Group delivered an important speech. He pointed out that this speech contest was very vivid and brilliant, which reflected the spirits of the workers of China Longyuan Power. Through this contest, we can clearly see that cadres and workers were mindful of the overall interests of the company. Meanwhile, their commitment to the post was very high and they were eager to contribute greatly to the development of the company. Further, he expressed three hopes especially to the young workers: first, the staff should be diligent in their study and in their post affairs. Second, the workers should be willing to be a pioneer and to make progress continually in their work.
