Witnessed by consul general in embassy of PRC in St. Paul, local government officers, dealers, customers and all Sany Brazil staff on Jan 18th, 2011, the first excavator SY215 rolled off the production line in Sany Brazil, which indicated another big step Sany has leaped in her globalization after Sany Indian plant open ceremony.
It was Nov 27th, 2010 that the first excavator production was about to get started. Before that, we had done some preparation job including tool preparation, jig and warehouse placement, lifting equipment for testing workshop, etc under the leadership of deputy general manager Mr. Wu since the autumn of 2010. What s more, the workers had been dispatched to Sany Heavy Machiney Co.,ltd for 3-months training in order to improve production intelligence.
There came the troubles from time to time during the production process, for example, when the first excavator finished welding and began its assembly, the bracket was found deformed, therefore a rework was a must in consideration to the quality. When emergency happened, employees from both China and Brazil could handle ingeniously by supplementing tools & spare parts and intensifying quality control, for all of them had the same aim, that is, to manufacture the first excavator in time and satisfied. When facing meticulous operating procedure, our Brazil workers couldn t operate in a normative and skilled way. When chromatic aberration occurred to the coatings or pellet appeared on the surface, the technicians could discuss with the workers promptly and then provide specified solutions in a fervent and patient manner that made workers positively modify their operation procedure. During the testing section, all inspections were implemented normatively except the turning noise in its swing. Our technicians had all swing tubes checked and swing motor work equipment dismantled, however, it didn t work. The situation began to reverse when Mr. Wu came to the workshop to check the drawings along with technicians. He had found one-way valve marked in the drawing hadn t been installed at all after 3 days inspection. They soon made the correction and finally the swing functioned.
The sound of cheers occurred at times after trouble-shooting in the production line, and technical skill of our employees improved gradually as well.In the afternoon of Dec 12th, 2010, the first excavator fulfilled its inspection and then was put into operation. Its bucket took an agile wave as a joyful salutation to the witnessed. The next morning, Mr. Yuan Jinhua, the president of Sany Brazil, visited the excavator factory and inspected working condition during its shop trial. Standing before the machine, Mr. Yuan encouraged all Sany Brazil staff for their endeavor contribution to excavator production as well as Sany s international marching.
A happy new year has come. Although mass production of excavator and shop trials for other products are about to start, Sany Brazil staff are prepared to open up a glorious and fruitful future.
