On September 28, 2009, "Long Live the Motherland" singing contest was held at NUC, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of China. School leaders, faculty and the students actively participated in the singing competitions.
In the end, School of Sports and Arts and School of Materials Science and Engineering won the first prize; the affiliated Primary school of NUC, School of Mechatronic Engineering got the second prize; College of reserved officers, College of Software Vocational and Technical Education, School of Chemical Engineering and Environment , the library and administrative party branch got the third prize. School leaders awarded the winners for their outstanding performance and expressed appreciation and encouragement.
