Secretary Hu Jianchen Visits Hong Kong University of Science & Technology

On Jun. 5, 2009, Mr. Hu Jianchen, Secretary of JiaxingUniversity Committee of the CPC, Mr. Lv Yanqing, President Assistant and also Director of the General Office of Jiaxing University, and Mr. Yuan Jialing, Director of the United Front Department of the Municipal Committee, visited the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. Prof. Paul Ching-Wu Chu, President of the Hong KongUniversity of Science & Technology and also Honorary President of Jiaxing University, met with our delegation.

During his stay in Hong Kong, Secretary Hu went to Hong Kong Fuhui Charity to call on Mr. Yan Kuangu and Mr. Zhang Guowei. On behalf of JiaxingUniversity, Secretary Hu expressed his gratitude to Fuhui Charity for their selfless care and help to our poverty-stricken students in the past ten or more years.
