University Heads attend Hong Kong Alumni Association s Celebration on 60th Anniversity of China

Mr. Lin Rupeng, vice president of our university, who was comissioned by Mr. Hu Jun president of our unversity to attend the 60^th anniversary celebration of the founding of the People's Republic of China and 23th annivesiry of the founding of Hong Kong Alumni Association.

On the party, Mr. Lin delivered a speech in retrospect to the great accomplishment our country had attained in economy and social development in the past 60 years. And he was affirmative to the contribution of the alumni in Hong Kong to the alma mater and Hong Kong. He also placed his hope that the new alumni association could do more contribution to Jinan University, to Hong Kong and to our country.

Present on the celebration party included 264 alumni, including Mr. Mei Fan, the deputy director of the alumin association in South California who graduated in 1960s. Also, Mr. An Heng, director of the general alumni association and Mr. Dong Qiyuan the director of the Office of Hong Kong Affairs attended the party.
