On the night of October 14, China National Peking Opera Company came into HIT and showed a splendid performance which combined the art with knowledge and interest. the students enjoyed greatly.
The performance was a part of the activity "2007 elegant art on campus" held by Education department ,culture department and financial department together .From October 9 to 30, they would have the show in 17 universities in Nanjing Harbin Hangzhou and Shanghai.
In order to bring the viewers more understanding on Peking Opera, president of China National Peking Opera Company Jiang Wu made a speech about Peking Opera, and the artists showed , which got warm applaud at the theatre .At last president Wu gave students some advices and the performance ended with their famous show
Board director Cui guolan had a meet with president Wu and thought better of their performance, she said that the Peking Opera would improve our campus culture greatly, and president Wu present with a gift picture .
