Falguni and Shane Peacock presented a new label called ‘Spendthrift Couture’ for Spring/ Summer 2009 at Lakme Fashion Week which will give the modern trendy woman more fashionable choices. The label is devoted to Gothic Clothing and the collection was a mix of the most interesting dresses, corsets, shirts, skirts, jewellery, and much more.
The creations were unconventional and aimed at the lady who wants to make heads turn as she enters a room full of people. The look was wild and wacky but at the same time glamorous with silk, satin, velvet and chiffon, coming together for the most exciting line of formal wear. The prints, the styles, the mix and match of silhouettes were the some of the most innovative seen at a fashion show.
