The Wacoal Sports Science Corporation, makers of CW-X Conditioning Wear, continue to expand their collection of performance-enhancing Conditioning Wear for the colder months. The new Insulator Zip Vest, 3/4-length tights, long-sleeve crew neck top, and Cold Weather bra will be available starting in August 2009, along with a new Support Top for women and color updates in the Pro, PerformX, VersatX and LiteFit lines.
The CW-X Insulator collection features Auto-Sensor, a quick-dry, breathable fabric with tuned temperature regulation that maintains a constant comfortable surface temperature under a variety of weather conditions. Antibacterial fabric freshness is provided through titanium and silver fiber technology, and U.V. protection is rated at UPF 50+.
The new 3/4-length Insulator Stabilyx Tights have an articulated back to block snow, and a windproof, water repellent DiAPLEX front panel, as well as patented Conditioning Web targeted support for accelerated muscle recovery.
The Insulator Zip Vest, in male and female specific silhouettes, has flat seam construction, four-way stretch for comfort, and a locking zip collar with a wind flap. The tights and vest can be worn as a high performance support base layer or as an outer layer depending upon temperatures and conditions.
New tops for men and women include the long-sleeved Insulator Crew Neck, and two new women-specific tops. The Insulator Cold Weather bra offers the same features and patented Targeted Support technology as the CW-X Sport Support bra, but now with Auto-Sensor to keep out the winter chill. The camisole length Ventilator Support Top features a built-in Soft Support bra with moisture-wicking Coolmax fabric and a Healtha+ mesh back panel for breathability and comfort.
Also new for Fall ’09 are the black/periwinkle women’s PerformX Tights and black/rose pink VersatX Capri, all-black Stabilyx Tights and black Pro Tights with blue Conditioning Web. The long-sleeved VersatX Web Top will be offered in white and light grey for men and women, and the long-sleeved LiteFit Zip-T will be available in bluestone (men’s) and aqua (women’s).
