The SNAP 700 Multimedia Label Printer

Designed to meet the diverse labeling challenges faced by apparel contractors worldwide, the SNAP 700 multimedia label printer is versatile and easy to use. The system features easy threading, minimal adjustments, and voice-assisted prompts in seven languages that support operators of all skill levels. Booth visitors will have an opportunity to “test drive” the new printer.

The versatile SNAP 700 produces the most commonly used apparel tags, fabric care labels, heat seal labels and self-adhesive stickers quickly and easily. With a SNAP 700 printing system, apparel contractors can respond to immediate labeling demands for make-ups, re-prints, samples, fabric content changes, last-minute price changes, and ever-growing labeling requirements for safety and traceability. Best of all, the SNAP 700 can save money and charge backs.

The system comes with a 127 mm (5") wide print head to accommodate a broad range of label sizes and is available in a two-side printing configuration for added functionality. Print speeds reach 305 mm (12") per second for paper stocks and 178 mm (7") per second for fabric care label stock. SNAP 700 rapidly and efficiently prints, cuts and stacks so the operator has a finished output ready for attachment to the garment without any post-processing. An optional bar code verifier stops printing upon detection of an unreadable bar code.

Avery Dennison Design Trim Collection Book 2010 Spring/Summer

The Avery Dennison 2010 Spring/Summer Label Collection Book will also be available for review by booth visitors. The new Collection, called SIGNAL, is the combined creative inspiration of U.S. and German Avery Dennison designer teams. It brings together diverse and unique brand identification solutions to challenge conventional thinking and inspire creativity. They are the result of Avery Dennison’s commitment to help its customers develop viable and distinctive global brands.

The Collection incorporates four comprehensive themes—“Serene," "Virtual," "Expression" and "Excess"—into its overall concept. The message behind “SIGNAL” is the need to improve our efforts in areas affecting the environment and the global community.

The four themes reflect the growing desire among many individuals for more balance in their lives, both internally and externally, as well as a more hospitable environment for themselves and future generations. Twenty individual lines are created within these themes for the apparel industry's core markets.
