Drug suspects
FIFTEEN alleged drug dealers were recently apprehended in Xixiang Subdistrict, Bao an District, the Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported.
The report said more than 1.5 kg of drugs and eight replica firearms were confiscated. Bao an police moved in after receiving information of gun trading in the Hezhou community.
Road in use
THE Bao an section of Guanguang Road (Guanlan-Guangming) opened Thursday, six months ahead of schedule, Shenzhen transport commission said Friday. The 8.26-kilometer section is two-way six lanes road built at a cost of 500 million yuan (US$76 million). It was designed to relieve traffic pressure in northern Bao an.
Hospital hours
OUTPATIENT departments and emergency departments at public hospitals would remain open 24 hours a day during the Spring Festival holidays. Pediatrics departments and gynecological departments would also be open all day at the city s seven public hospitals.
