Little Sheep stores will extend business hours in Beijing

Chinese hot pot chain Little Sheep Group announced today that from this tonight most of Little Sheep stores in the capital city will extend business hours to 2 o clock in the next morning, and the initiative will not be changed for a long time in the future.

"Extending the business hours are not all due to the World Cup in South Africa. We are prepared to make it as a long-term business initiative, because we feel that this measure is needed in Beijing market," one official of Little Sheep Group in Beijing says. According to him, Little Sheep Group now has 22 stores in Beijing, and it is expected that it will open 1-2 stores in the second half of this year.

General Secretary of China Cuisine Association Feng Enyuan said that in the summer, as well as this year's World Cup, many well-known food companies in Beijing are beginning to work hard in the night catering market. "Making effort in the night market can both bring convenience to customers and compensating retailers for the loss of their turnover. But this business model is not sure to be success," Feng said.
