10-year Human Habitat Nanning Expo April 27 - May 3

On the morning of April 27, the exhibition of the ten-year development of human habitat construction in Guangxi (Nanning), sponsored by CPC Nanning Committee and municipal government, opened at Guangxi Science and Technology. Dr. Anna Tibaijuka, UN-HABITAT Executive Director, Gao Xiong, Vice Governor of Guangxi, Mayor Huang Fangfang, and related leaders from Liuzhou, Guilin, Beihai, etc were present at the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, Mayor Huang Fangfang announced the decision that Dr. Anna Tibaijuka was awarded Nanning Honorary Citizen , and then awarded her the certificate and ribbon. After the ceremony, Dr. Anna Tibaijuka and the municipal leaders visited the exhibition.

The exhibition of the ten-year achievements of human habitat construction in Guangxi (Nanning) will last from April 27 to May 3. It will demonstrate great achievements in the construction of living environment in Nanning. Meanwhile, exhibits from the other eight cities in Guangxi, namely Liuzhou, Guilin, Beihai, Qingzhou, Fangchenggang, Yulin, Baise and Congzuo, are invited to participate the exhibition.
