In October, the value-added of the industrial enterprises that above designated size (all state-owned enterprises and non-stated enterprises with an annual sales income over 5 million yuan) achieved 760.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.7. The sales ratio of industrial products was 98.44 percent, grew 0.61 percentage points over the same month of last year. The export delivery value of industrial products reached 539.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 22.2 percent.

In terms of main industries, the growth rate of textile industry, raw chemical materials industry and chemical products industry, non-metal mineral products industry, smelting and pressing of ferrous metals industry expanded respectively 12.0, 18.2, 18.8 and 21.9 percent, that of general equipment manufacturing industry, transportation equipment manufacturing industry, electric machinery and equipment manufacturing industry climbed 22.4, 26.9 and 12.6 percent, that of telecommunication, computer and other electric facilities manufacturing industry increased 17.3 percent, while that of electric power and heat production and supply rose by 13.9 percent.

In terms of main products, the crude coal, oil and generate electricity capacity reached respectively 187 ,15.5 million tons and 232.4 billion kilowatt-hours, increased 14.6, 0.6 and 14.4 percent, respectively. The production of pig iron, crude steel and rolled steel was 36.15, 37.68 and 41.59 million tons, rose by 19.2, 18.0 and 23.4 percent respectively; that of cement was 110 million tons, up by 16.8 percent; that of vehicles was 618000, up by 35.6 percent, of which, 32300 of automobiles increased 34.8 over the same month of the previous year.

From January to October, the accumulated value-added of industrial enterprises above designated size achieved 6986.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 16.9 percent.
