Entrepreneur Confidence Index Slightly Declined in the Second Quarter

According to the results of nationwide survey showed that entrepreneur confidence index (ECI) gained 134.8 in the second quarter, dropped 5.8 and 8.3 as compared with first quarter and same period of previous year.

The ECIs for industry, mining industry, manufacturing, production and supply of electricity, gas and water, construction, transport, storage and post, wholesale and retail trades, real estate, social services, information transmission, computer services and software, hotels and catering services stood at 135.0, 169.0, 132.9, 133.4, 133.6, 131.9, 139.0, 118.4, 123.1, 159.2 and124.6 respectively.

The ECIs of state-owned enterprises, collective-owned enterprises, cooperative enterprises, limited liability enterprises, share-holding corporation limited, private enterprises, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and foreign-invested enterprises stood at 133.0, 118.0, 116.8, 134.7, 140.8, 119.6 and 139.5 respectively.

The ECIs of small, medium and large scale enterprises stood at 118.0, 125.3 and 149.9 respectively.

The ECIs of eastern, central and western regions stood at 134.5, 136.3 and 134.9 respectively.
