Ningbo Customs District seized two successive consignments of locks which infringed on the trademark rights of the Tri-circle Lock. The case involved 286,200 infringing locks with a value of RMB 1.43 million, said the Customs officers.
Officers said they detected 800 cases of the locks when they were inspecting a consignment to the United Arab Emirates declared by a company in Shenzhen the other day. One day later, they seized another 888 cases. The products were all confirmed by Yantai Tri-circle Lock Industry Co., Ltd (the right holder) as infringing ones, according to the officers.
