It is straight out of something like a ‘Ripley’s believe it or not’. A Japanese company claims to have developed a suit which can resist and prevent Influenza H1N1 infection or swine flu, which, since the last few months, has become the scourge of many countries across the globe.
The company, Haruyama Trading says that, the specially designed suit material has been coated with titanium dioxide, a chemical composite that can react with light and effectively reduce and prevent the virus spread, providing the first level of filtering on top of unnatural look mask or expensive vaccine.
Although there are no studies or assurances, on how effectively, this suit can tackle H1N1, but since it has been innovated by a Japanese company, a country which has a culture on emphasizing on product quality and information accuracy, experts aver that there is no harm in trying it out.
The suit has a protective ability to maintain its functionality even after being washed a few times. For the present, it will be retailed only in the Japanese market.
