Argentina’s leather industry has different views regarding the bilateral trade with the European Union.
In a recent meeting in Lisbon between both continents, Argentina’s leather and footwear companies expressed caution over allowing European exporters easier access to their domestic market.
Representatives of the beef industry, however, said they were in favour of greater openness, with some even arguing for duty-free access both ways.
