TULSA, OKLA,June 15-For the 10th year, beer from the Miller-Coors Brewing Co. will be shipped on 100 percent recycled plastics.
Supplier of the pallets, Greystone Logistics of Tulsa, announced the beer maker would be buying its recycled pallets for the next year, continuing a decade-long business relationship.
Customers return worn-out pallets to the supplier in much the same way beer kegs are returned after use by the brewer s customers.
Even when the extremely durable 100 percent recycled plastic pallet reaches the end of a life cycle, Greystone credits the customer and reuses the plastic to make a replacement pallet. Miller Brewing was an early promoter of green practices and use of recycled plastic pallets and is a leader in sustainability, said Warren Kruger, CEO of Greystone Logistics.
The company supplies plastic pallets to the food and beverage, automotive, chemical, and pharmaceutical and consumer product industries.
