China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. (600028.SH) said on its official website the first horizontal well of one of Xinchang Gas Field's reservoirs has been able to yield high-production gas flows at a daily volume of 85,000 square meters.
The reservoir is located in Deyang city of western Sichuan province with an area of 900 square kilometers, and a depth of 4,500-5,300 meters.
It is currently supplying natural gas to several cities in the province thanks to its high-quality gas and sound transmission network.
