Mr. Hu Jintao inspected Weichai Power

Mr. Hu Jintao, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of China and Chairman of the CMC, visited Weichai Power on Apr. 8. He inspected the WD615 assembly line, the WD618 production line and the Science and Technology Exhibition Hall respectively and listened in earnest the report of Mr. Tan Xuguang, chairman of the board of the directors of Weichai Power. Mr. Hu Jintao expressed his commendation to Weichai Power s endeavor of persisting in independent innovation, establishing the national power and forgeing a global Weichai. He encouraged Weichia Power to further improve the ability of independent innovation, quicken the pace of technology development and speed up the transformation of science and technology achievement to the productive force. He hopes Weichai Power to have a stronger and more successful tomorrow.
