HONG KONG: Hong Kong's Department of Health and the Chinese Mainland's State Food and Drug Administration signed an agreement on Monday to enhance cooperation and communication on the control of drugs and medical devices.
Noting the public has high expectations for the safety, quality and efficacy of Western medicines, Chinese traditional medicines and medical devices, Director of Health PY Lam said the agreement will broaden the scope of cooperation in the interest of public health.
