BEIJING - The bilateral trade volume between China and Georgia grew 86 percent year-on-year to $46.77 million in the first two months this year, said a statement posted on the Ministry of Commerce's website Monday.
Georgia's exports to China amounted to $3.02 million in the first two months, jumping 354 percent from a year ago. China's exports to Georgia rose 79 percent to $43.75 million.
China became Georgia's fifth largest trading partner, said the statement without giving the reasons for the trade growth.
