BEIJING: Wuliangye Yibin Co Ltd, one of China's top liquor producers, announced Sunday evening that its net profit in the first three months rose 20.78 percent year-on-year to 1.522 billion yuan ($222.8 million).
Operation revenue in the first quarter jumped 34.59 percent to 4.493 billion yuan ($657.8 million), the southwestern Sichuan province-based liquor maker said in its quarterly results report to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
The equities of the Shenzhen-listed firm dropped 1.02 percent to close at 29 yuan per share on Friday.
