p> PUWORLD(2010-05-24) CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals had successfully completed its overhaul in 2010 as well as the expansion of 950kt/y ethylene project. And the newly-built facility would put into operation soon.
After the expansion, annual output of ethylene would increase from 0.8 million tons to 0.95 tons while annual output of petrochemical products would rise from 2.3 million tons to 2.7 million tons.
It was reported that overhaul started from March 6th of this year and was successfully completed by the end of April. Besides, all the facilities in the factories had restarted and operated smoothly.
