MELBOURNE, July 14 - Australian farm chemicals group's Nufarm said its strategic review would involve reallocating resources away from its glyphosate business, which has been its focus up to now.
"We built quite a bit of the value of the company on glyphosate, which clearly has changed," Managing Director Doug Rathbone told analysts and reporters on a conference call.
He said plans by U.S. giant Monsanto, maker of Roundup glyphosate, to be more competitive on pricing had hit sales in North America.
"The market has just frozen," Rathbone said.
