Millenium old bath towels used in Turkish baths have become fashionable again thanks to Hollywood.

It came back from obscurity when Oprah announced it as one of her 'favourite things' and it is now movers and shakers all across Hollywood, according to Scents & Feel Foutas, a Miami based firm who claim to be the only makers of this multi-purpose hand woven towel.

Scents & Feel, created by Jenny Haik of Robert Haik Fashion, now offers an authentic Fouta that heavy-hitters are flaunting around Hollywood.

Made of a special 100% cotton that gets softer and more absorbent with each and every wash, these artisanal yet functional works of art are made the same way today as they were over a millennium ago.

As luxurious and fashionable and they are functional, the Fouta can be worn as a wrap on a chilly evening or as a two-in-one sarong and beach towel, the way Jennifer Aniston was spotted wearing it on a day at the beach during a recent trip to Mexico. Foutas are also catching on as decorative home accents too as everything from bath towels and tablecloths to baby blankets and throws.

What s Old Is New Again: Hollywood has mastered the art of taking something old and making it fashionable again just look at last season s recycling of everything 80 s from the big and small screen classics to big hair and leggings.

The big craze of the moment, however, doesn t go back just a few decades for inspiration it takes its cue from a whole lot further back: to the ancestral Turkish baths of over 1,000 years ago. It is available on Amazon, HSN and ScentsAndFeel.com.
