US: Syrgis Strengthens Corporate Engineering

CINCINNATI - Syrgis, an international diversified group of fine and specialty chemical manufacturers, today announced that Glenn Beeman has joined the organization and will assume the role of Senior Corporate Engineer for Syrgis' global businesses.

"Glenn is an experienced engineer who brings proven technical expertise in lean manufacturing to our businesses," said Bob Garner, vice president of operations and engineering for Syrgis. "Syrgis is in the process of rolling out a new innovation process. As part of this process, several projects have been identified which will enhance capabilities and further improve our operations. One of Glenn's key responsibilities will be the implementation of these innovation projects."

Beeman has 17 years of experience with project and facility management globally, working for companies such as Dow, Nestle Waters and Great Lakes Chemical. He has extensive experience with lean manufacturing, with a strong background in equipment layouts, long-range facility planning, and the development of improved safety, environmental, and quality programs. Beeman earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Michigan State University.
