p>PetroChina Daqing Refining & Chemical began to restart units recently and was expected to resume normal operation and product supply on Sep 25, a refinery source indicated.
As reported earlier, Daqing Refining & Chemical went through a 40-day overhaul since Aug 17 and planned to consume 120,000mt of crude in September.
Daqing Refining & Chemical, located in Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, currently owns an annual crude throughput capacity of 8-mil mt as well as a 6-mil mt per year of secondary processing capacity. The refinery produces 15,000mt of naphtha every month, which is mainly supplied to nearby Daqing Petrochemical and Jilin Petrochemical.
